In 1960, a statue was erected in front of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli (now the Baku Music Academy). The statue, created by Tokay Mammadov, is 2.9 meters high and cast in bronze.

In 1956, a bronze and granite monument was erected on the composer's grave on the First Alley of Honor. The author of the monument is sculptor Omar Eldarov. The statue is installed on a granite pedestal 3.1 meters high.

In 1985, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, a statue of the composer was erected in Shusha. The monument, created by sculptor Ahmad Salikov, was completely destroyed as a result of Armenian vandalism during Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan in 1992.

On August 29, 2021, a new statue of Uzeyir Hajibeyli was erected in the city of Shusha under the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the bronze statue was installed in its original location in Shusha. The monument of the composer was created by sculptors Aslan Rustamov, Teymur Rustamov, and Mahmud Rustamov.

In 1984, under the instructions of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, a bronze bust of Uzeyir Hajibeyli was created in the city of Shusha by People’s Artist Khanlar Ahmadov and Honored Artist Namig Dadashov. During Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan in 1992, the composer’s bust was subjected to Armenian vandalism, severely damaged, and later sold abroad as metal. 

On the initiative of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, the bust of Uzeyir Hajibeyli was retrieved in 1992 and brought to Baku to be displayed in the courtyard of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. In 2021, based on the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the bust of Uzeyir Hajibeyli was restored and returned to Shusha.

On May 30, 2006, a bust of the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli was unveiled in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The monument, erected in Vienna’s Duay Park, was created by renowned sculptor Omar Eldarov. Commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the monument was completed within a year and has a height of 2.5 meters.

In 2011, a bust of Uzeyir Hajibeyli was unveiled in Novi Sad, Serbia. The monument to the composer was erected through the initiative and support of President Ilham Aliyev.
